Stop taking orders before you close

Give your kitchen time to finish the last orders by closing ordering a few minutes before your doors close.

If customers could order right up to your closing time, the kitchen would still be cooking after you close. Restanaut lets you stop accepting new orders a set number of minutes before closing, so the last order always has enough time to be prepared.

Cómo funciona

  • You choose how many minutes before closing ordering should stop.
  • As that moment approaches, your restaurant page stops accepting new orders for the day, even though you are technically still open.
  • Ordering opens again automatically for your next opening period, based on your working hours.

This works together with your opening hours and your restaurant's time zone, so ordering always closes at the right local time.

Setting the time

  • Abre la página de configuración de tu restaurante.
  • Find the Delivery options card and press Edit.
  • Set 'Stop accepting orders before closing [min.]' to the number of minutes that gives your kitchen enough time, then save.

For example, with a value of 30 and a closing time of 22:00, customers can place their last order at 21:30.

Elegir un buen valor

  • Base it on how long a typical order takes to prepare, plus a little buffer.
  • Delivery orders usually need more lead time than pick-up or eat-in, set it high enough for your slowest method.
