Working with multiple users

Invite staff to your restaurant so the whole team can handle orders and keep the menu up to date.

You don't have to run everything yourself. Invite your staff to the restaurant and they can accept orders, print tickets and update the menu from their own accounts. Team invitations are available on the Business plan.

Inviting a team member

  • Open your restaurant settings page.
  • Find the Team card and press Edit.
  • Enter the person's email address and press Invite.

You can also invite your team during the setup wizard, or skip it there and do it later.

Accepting an invitation

The invited person logs in to Restanaut with the email address you invited, creating an account takes a minute if they don't have one. They'll see your invitation and can accept or decline it. Once accepted, your restaurant appears in their account.

What team members can do

  • See and handle orders: accept, reject, mark done and print them.
  • Edit the menu, including marking items as temporarily unavailable.
  • Choose their own notification preferences, each member controls email notifications, push notifications and the sound alarm for their own devices.

Managing the team itself, inviting and removing members, stays with the restaurant owner.

Removing a team member

On the same Team page, press remove next to the member and confirm. Their access to the restaurant ends immediately, useful when someone leaves your staff.
