QR code menu
Print a QR code that opens your menu, so guests can browse and order straight from their table.
A QR code menu lets guests scan a code with their phone camera and land directly on your menu, no app to download, no printed menus to sanitize and reprint. Combined with eat-in ordering, guests can order from the table without waiting for a server.
Printing your QR code
- Open your restaurant settings page.
- Press the QR code menu button, a printable page opens with your QR code and a 'Scan me to open menu' caption.
- The print dialog appears automatically, print as many copies as you need.
The QR code becomes available once your restaurant page is published.
Where to place it
- On every table, so guests can order and pay attention to your menu, not to flagging down staff.
- On your door or window, so passers-by can check the menu even when you're closed.
- On flyers, business cards and packaging, every printed piece becomes an entry point to your ordering page.
How guests use it
Guests point their phone camera at the code and tap the link. Your menu opens in their browser, and if ordering is enabled, they can place an eat-in order with their table number, it appears on your orders page like any other order.
Good to know
- The QR code always points to your live menu, update dishes or prices and the code keeps working, no reprinting needed.
- On the Business plan you can remove restanaut.com branding from the QR printout in your restaurant's general settings.
