Choosing which payment methods you accept
Decide how customers pay for their orders, cash, card, Blik or online, and show only the options that fit your restaurant.
When a customer places an order, they choose how they want to pay from the methods you accept. You decide which ones to offer, so customers only ever see options your restaurant can actually handle.
The payment options
- Cash, the customer pays with cash on delivery or at pick-up.
- Card, the customer pays by card in person, on delivery or at pick-up.
- Blik, a fast mobile payment popular in Poland, paid in person. This option only appears for restaurants based in Poland.
- Online, the customer pays by card straight away while ordering. This one needs Stripe connected first.
Setting your payment methods
- Open your restaurant settings page.
- Find the Payment methods card and press Edit.
- Tick every method you want to accept, and untick the rest.
- Save your changes.
Good to know
- Keep at least one method enabled, otherwise customers can't complete an order.
- Cash and card are settled in person, Restanaut only records which method the customer picked.
- Online payments are the only method where money is collected through Restanaut and Stripe at the moment of ordering.
